When you send me paypal payments for commissions, please always mark it as being for Services. (Don’t worry too much if you didn’t do this, though).

I understand the seller always pays the paypal fee/tax in this situation. I am okay with it.  I do not mind giving paypal some money for enabling me to even receive the payments in the first place. It’s okay. Paypal is not a Big Bad for wanting compensation for their services. Woo.

If you’re getting a digital commission, please also mark the payment as requiring no shipping. (this should be an obvious one, but in the rush to throw dollars at people I know it can get lost). Part of Paypal’s Terms of Service requires sellers to agree “not to use your PayPal account to sell goods with delivery dates delayed more than 20 days from the date of payment”, so when you attach a shipping address to something that doesn’t need to be shipped, and never gets shipped, it can be a slight problem.

Each icon will be $10. You will receive a 300x300 pixel image which you may crop or resize to your liking (I will also send you a 100x100 version of the image).

I will update this original post with the availability of slots so please check back to the source post to see if slots are still open if you’re seeing this on a reblog. A few of the things on the Terms of Service don’t really apply to icons as they are such small works, so don’t be too intimidated by it.

I’ve updated some of my commission policies and created a form for clients to fill out to make everything run much more smoothly and require a bit less back-and-forth in emails to get all the info I need for commissions. I’ve also created a Terms of Service that clients should look over before they commission me, most of which is fairly obvious stuff so it’s not much to worry about, but will still require looking over.

For this reason I’m going to ask that anyone who was on my waitlist please contact me again using said form which I will link once I re-open for commissions, to both tell me you’re still interested and to ensure you’re okay with the new policies. 

I will probably be giving the form a test-run later today by opening for a round of 10 icon commissions just to make sure everything’s in working order. Keep an eye out for a post later, if you are interested!

BTW facebook is a great way to keep updated on artists and what they are working on and what they are doing. It’s actually become a huge artist community and I enjoy using my facebook way more now.

In order to help deal with the ever-present need to rake in more money, I’ve decided to pick up a few commissions where I can! All commissions will be entirely customisable, from tense and POV to themes and tropes, and I will happily write original works (OCs, RP characters, etc) re-imaginings (fairytales, myths, etc) as well as fandoms I’m familiar with where such works are permissible. (Please contact me on a case-by-case basis for fanworks.) I’m also more than happy to write porn.

Commissions run at £8 per 1,000 words. Please note that if, for example, you commission me for a 5,000 word story and I haven’t quite wrapped it up by the 5k mark, I will continue writing until I reach the end for no extra charge. Basically, you’ll never get less than what you paid for, but will potentially get more.

If you’re interested, please email me at sunbreaksdown@gmail.com with a brief outline of what you’d like. If everything seems to be in shape, I’ll send you a form to fill out with all the necessary details to ensure you’re getting exactly what you want. Once I’ve written enough for you to get the basic idea of where things are going, I’ll send you the section to read and if you’re happy for me to continue, I’ll take 50% of the payment, write the rest, and collect the last 50% before submitting the final work.

Commissions will generally be completed within 10 – 21 days of being started, depending on length and complexity, but may take longer in some cases.

This little fellow is a chromaraptor! They’re a fantastically colorful species of fluffy dino who love nothing more than to be lap pets and participate in nice long cuddling sessions. 

He’s made of thick, soft faux fur and fleece, with painted plastic animal eyes and plastic-cast claws. His teeth are needle-felted wool and his silly smile is hand-stitched.

This is an entirely hand-sewn plush made from an original pattern. They will eventually be open for custom order in different colors once the pattern has been slightly refined.

This particular fellow will be up for sale soon.
